About Laura
Originally from sunny CA, Laura has been called "the little woman with a BIG voice." She's always been wildcard, creating off-the-wall characters Off Broadway, and she'll be making a splash on the big screen in the upcoming comedy, The Christmas Letter, with comedy legends Chevy Chase, Randy Quaid, and Brian Doyle-Murray.
Laura recently worked with Martin Short in the national commercial for SingleCare where she played Barbara Walters, and she won raves as the wise-cracking Brooklyn realtor, Joey, in the award-winning webseries, “Human Telegraphs."
She won the NYU Craft Award for Best Actress in the dramatic short film, "Sincerely Yours" and was nominated for Best Supporting Actress as a quirky pillow-lover in the comedy"DINER THERAPY: Pillow Talk,"
Off Broadway, she won the NYMF Award for Outstanding Performance as Sister Smile in "The Tragic and Horrible Life of The Singing Nun." She starred as Judy Garland, Janis Joplin, Lady Godiva, Alice B. Toklas and other icons in "Hell's Belles the Musical" and originated the role of Pat the Park Ranger in "Sasquatched! The Musical," which she performed at 54 Below.
Her bubbly voice is a go-to for VoiceOver characters, and she surprised audiences as the "purring, creamy-toned, absolutely despicable (villain) Sophie" in the cast album of Jerome Kern's "Roberta" on New World Records and Amazon.
Laura loves to capture the magic of Manhattan in her webseries Laura Loves NY. She also runs a bi-weekly Dungeons & Dragons game and can be found in the D&D community as Madame DM.
